General Questions
What is a BikeDuck?
A BikeDuck is a fun, quirky rubber duck designed to sit on your bike or scooter handlebars. Many models include a mini LED light and a soft squeak, making your rides more fun and full of personality.
Who are BikeDucks for?
Everyone!
BikeDucks are loved by kids, teens, adults, commuters, gift-givers — anyone who enjoys a little fun on their daily ride.
Are BikeDucks safe?
Yes — when used correctly.
Just make sure your BikeDuck doesn’t block your brakes, gears, or main front light.
If your duck has an LED light, remember it’s a novelty light only, not a replacement for your main bike light at night.
For very young children, supervise fitting or play (small parts on some models).
Fitting & Compatibility
How do I fit my BikeDuck?
Super easy:
-
Place the duck on your handlebars.
-
Stretch the elastic strap underneath.
-
Hook it onto the base.
-
Adjust the duck so it faces forward.
It takes about 10 seconds.
Will a BikeDuck fit my bike?
Yes — BikeDucks fit:
-
Children’s bikes
-
Adult bikes
-
Scooters
-
Balance bikes
-
Prams and pushchairs
-
Mobility scooters
-
Many other handlebars and rails
The flexible strap fits most standard handlebar sizes.
Can I use a BikeDuck on a scooter?
Absolutely.
BikeDucks are very popular on scooters — especially for school runs and younger riders.
Can BikeDucks go on a motorbike or e-bike?
Yes, as long as the strap can reach around the bar and the duck doesn’t interfere with controls. Many riders put them on their mirrors!
Do BikeDucks come with a helmet or accessories?
Yes they do, all ducks come with a helmet, sunglasses and gold chain.
The product page will always show exactly what’s included.
Lights, Batteries & Sounds
Do BikeDucks have lights?
All models include a small LED that can be switched between steady or flashing modes.
This is a novelty light and should not replace your main bike light.
Are BikeDucks waterproof?
They are splash-resistant and fine in rain, puddles, or normal outdoor use.
However, they shouldn’t be fully submerged in water, especially when they have their light fitted.
How loud is the squeak?
BikeDucks have a soft, friendly squeak — loud enough for fun, quiet enough not to annoy everyone around you.
They're great for kids and light-hearted riding, but not intended to replace a proper bike bell.
