The Story Behind BikeDuck
BikeDuck is a small, family-run UK business with a big mission:
to make cycling more fun, more colourful, and a little bit sillier — one duck at a time.
And the idea didn’t come from a marketing team…
It came from our 13-year-old son.
Where It All Began
One afternoon, after spotting a quirky duck on a bike online, our son turned to us and said:
“Why doesn’t the UK have a proper place to get cool bike ducks?”
He loved the idea of bikes having personality — superheroes, silly faces, ducks in helmets, even ducks with tiny propellers.
He thought they were fun, cheerful, and exactly the sort of thing that would make kids excited to hop on their bikes.
So he asked if we could help him turn his idea into something real.
And that’s how BikeDuck was born — straight from a teenager’s imagination, enthusiasm, and entrepreneurial spark.
A Family Project
Today, BikeDuck is run by our family:
